Inspirational Literature
I imagine that there are hundreds of books that pour out wisdom and perspective from their first pages. When looking to be encouraged, inspired or simply looking for a really good story, these are some of the reads that have given me a reason to pause and consider. There are others and the list is still growing. What are some of the books that have inspired you!
Becoming
One of things that I loved most about Michelle's book is the transparency and realness of her experiences. Often, we see extraordinary individuals and believe that they had experiences that were very different from our own, and while some may have been, often times we learn that our experiences have similarities that make us able to relate to one another more than we believed possible.
The Alchemist

I've read this book two and a half times now. There are so many nuggets to the story of the sheep herder. I don't think that there has been another book so far that has unprovokingly made me look at my own life's experiences with a new perspective- specifically looking at how at each interval of my journey has shaped the next.
Finding Me
Reading Viola's story was overwhelming for me. I'll admit that it was triggering. The details and pain of an upbringing filled with abuse and identity issues came up close and personal. Seeing who Viola has become despite her earlier years warrants a read.
